Camping

We got to try out our trailer for real this weekend. We drove to Trinity Lake and stayed at the KOA. I really like the trailer! I've never minded roughing it, but having your own bathroom and hot shower is pretty nice. Usually I hate cooking when we're camping, because it is so cold outside, but not anymore. Having a heated kitchen is great! We went with some friends and made new friends while we were there. It was a pretty busy campground, but there was alot to do. One night they showed Cars movie on a big screen in the woods. Sawyer was pretty thrilled. I'm afraid everytime we camp, he'll expect to see his movie. We can't wait for our next trip!

Cousins

Our family got to visit us this month! We miss being around our family so much! It is always a treat when they come to hang out with us. We did so much! Turtle Bay, fishing, gold panning, movies, swimming, gymnastics, the parade, playing in the snow and parks. I'm excited the cousins got to know each other so well!

Mother's Day

Yesterday was a great day! I can't tell you how blessed I feel to be called a mom. For so many years it was my dream and my desire and God answered my prayers. It has been my goal and prayer to adore and cherish all that comes with this job. I do fail and fall into the complaining and feeling sorry for myself some days. It is easy to get caught up in the mundane chores, the constant discipline, and endless energy that gets sucked out. I've been back at work this month and I realize that my passion is completely lacking in my career. My heart is at home with my family.
My heart still breaks for couples who have not had their prayers answered and are longing for a little one. Mother's Day can be a day of great pain for these couples. Please pray with me for God to reach out and comfort these women. If you are a mom and struggling with today's new challenge, pray for strength and rejoice in the blessing God has given you.
