We have had some great snow in our area this month! One day we went sledding and played near shingletown. This past weekend we attempted to get to the ski park. It was a gorgeous sunny day with amazing snow and by the time we arrived, the parking lot was completely full and we had to turn around. We rented skiis for sawyer in Mt. Shasta and then went out searching for a little hill he could practice on. Our first attempt was a pretty typical 3 year old moment, whining, complaing...the works. We decided to have an early lunch and try again. Once Sawyer realized how much speed was involved in this sport, he was excited. He did really well and asked to go again and again! Unfortunately, we were walking back up the hill each time and that wore the instructor out pretty fast.
Next week we head for Mt. Bachelor in Oregon. We can't wait to get on the mountain! We are hoping that Sawyer will really enjoy himself so we can spend more time doing something we love!
